Art Nouveau – Chrysis Vase (18cm)

When designer Otto Tauschek created the Mozart collection nearly 100 years ago, he had no idea the reaction it would cause. His modern approach to the rococo-style of decoration drew the interest of cut crystal lovers from all over the world. You can become one too, and we would be happy to add a monogram or your family coat of arms to the carafe of this celebrated drinkware set.

  • Hand-blown from environmentally friendly lead-free crystal
  • Hand cut and polished to a high gloss

Moser’s art nouveau vases with floral motifs are a beautiful example of the skills of the Carlsbad glass-makers, cutters and engravers. They’ve been pushing the boundaries of perfection ever since the turn of the 19th and 20th century, when art nouveau breathed fresh life into all forms of art. The Moser vases, first called “Moderne Plastik” and later “Eckentiefgravur”, were admired at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1900, as well as at the exhibitions of London, Turin and St. Louis. The hand-cut, hand-engraved glass has remained popular till the present day.
