With the Mozart collection, designer Otto Tauschek returned to the days of both the rococo and classic styles, however, choosing to draw inspiration in a completely modern way. The liqueur glass stands on a rococo-style stem, yet the challis displays a relatively modest shape and only a subtle cut makes its way around the edge. When it was first created, this crystalline fusion of styles was seen as revolutionary, and it hasn’t stopped astonishing audiences to this day.

Thus a timeless drinking collection was born, which, right from the moment it was placed on the market in the 1930s, gained many an admirer. Today it remains one of the most popular sets of cut crystal.
